Elisa Heinrich hat ein 2-jähriges Max Weber Fellowship eingeworben, das sie ab September 2024 an das European University Institute (EUI) in Florenz führt. Sie forscht dort im Rahmen ihres Postdoc-Projekts "Cripping Politics. Knowledge production, activism, and self-representation of people with disabilities in Central Europe, 1970s to 1990s".
Darüber hinaus erhält Elisa Heinrich für ihre Dissertation "Intim und respektabel. Homosexualität und Freundinnenschaft in der deutschen Frauenbewegung um 1900" (2022) den Preis der Società Italiana delle Storiche (Association of Italian Women Historians). Die Preisverleihung findet am 27. September in Rom statt.
