Curriculum Vitae and list of publications
Marion Krammer studied journalism, art history and Russian and wrote her doctoral thesis on Austrian press photography. She has worked as a freelance scientist for the Architekturzentrum Wien, the University of Salzburg, among others, and as a curator for the Wien Museum. From 2014-2017 she was a project collaborator in the FWF project "War of Pictures. Pressefotografie in Österreich 1945-1955" at the University of Vienna's Department of Communication. As part of an accompanying science communication project, Marion Krammer and Margarethe Szeless designed the online exhibition War of Pictures. Image Culture in Austria 1945–1955. From 2023 to 2027, she will head (together with Margarethe Szeless) the FWF project "Visual Public Sphere in National Socialism". In addition to her research activities, Marion Krammer and Margarethe Szeless have been running the research agency wesearch.agentur für geschichte und kommunikation since 2013.
