Dr. Martin Tschiggerl

Senior Lecturer

Martin Tschiggerl has been a senior lecturer at the Department of Contemporary History at the University of Vienna since 2025, and since 2022 he has also headed the FWF project “Die Konstruktion der Österreichischen Trümmerfrau” (“The Construction of the Austrian Trümmerfrau”) at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Previously, he was a research assistant at Saarland University, a Fulbright visiting professor at the University of Minnesota, a visiting researcher at the University of Chicago, and a university assistant at the University of Vienna.
