Masterclass for Doctoral Students with Prof. Yulia Gradskova (Södertörn University, Sweden) 

The workshop is dedicated to methods and problems of doing research on Cold War Women's internationalism. How can we deal with fragmented and disappeared archival sources, propagandistic official publications, Cold War censored materials and fragmented and (self)censored auto-biographical accounts? Does research on transnational connectivities and solidarities require transnational cooperation? While the workshop can not give answers to all these questions, sharing experiences and discussing methods of working with legacies of East-South women's internationalism together will contribute to further development of the research on gender and (post)socialism.
